Product Manager (m/w/d) Lens Production

For our German office in Wetzlar we are looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) Lens Production.

Your responsibilities

• Global product group support: you monitor the budget and ensure that the products meet market and customer requirements
• New product development: You define the requirements for new developments and create detailed specifications
• Further development of existing products: You develop optimization proposals and support their implementation
• Supporting regions and customers worldwide
• Customer-specific solutions: You develop tailor-made solutions taking into account technical, organizational and economic framework conditions and coordinate these with the relevant specialist departments
• Presentation of products and services: You demonstrate the possible applications and performance of our products and services as well as their security
• Market and competitive analyses

Your Background

• A completed technical degree, successfully completed state technician training or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of machines and technologies, ideally in ophthalmic optics
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel internationally
